Vallombrosa (pronounced Vall-om-broh-sah) is a beautiful shaded forest in Tuscany, Italy. The different lace stitch patterns used in the cowl echo the tree trunks, the sunlight streaming between them, and the forest foliage.

The Vallombrosa Cowl is a beautiful, delicate cowl offered in three sizes. It is a quick and engaging knit worked in the round and each size given is achievable with just one 100 g skein of sock yarn (most of them use less!) making it an excellent stash buster.
